Sauti Sol Host First-Ever Mega Concert in Eastlands, Buruburu with Pomp and Color


Yesterday, music powerhouse, the multi award winning boy band Sauti Sol celebrated Savara Mudigi’s birthday with pomp and music with a well-attended event that went down The Point, Buruburu.

The event also marked the official launch of Savara’s Women Advancement (SAWA) program to help women aged between 18-25 years through training and mentorship, marking the launch of an initiative that will likely see the support of Sauti Sol’s involvement moving forward.

Attended by some of Kenya’s entertainment big names, P-Unit’s Bon-Eye and Gabu, veteran artist Nameless, Kristoff, and Kaka Empire’s Timmy T-Dat were present.

The concert featured many upcoming artists from Nairobi’s Eastlands including Swiga, Konkodi, and Emmie who brought their best to the stage and entertained the audience.

The man himself, King of comeback; Nyashinski performed his top hits “Malaika”, “Mungu Pekee”, and “Now You Know” while the newest band on the block, Le Band performed their favorite hits “Number 1” and “For You”.

Sauti Sol, well known for their electrifying live performances did not disappoint as they hit the stage at around 9:00 PM and performed their top hits with entertaining dance for about 2 hours before bringing the Chrome Vodka and Betin sponsored concert to a climactic close.
