Last night was the one night of the year that we always look forward to! Crowning of Africa’s finest superstars and while celebrating our diverse cultures.

Hosted for the 4th times in Nigeria, All the 2019 All Africa Music Awards (AFRIMA) was nothing short of glam and awesomeness bring best of Africa all under one room and if you ask me there is no better way to end the 3 days eventful celebrations to a close.

Hosted by the very beautiful Pearl Thusi from South Africa and the funniest Eddie Kadi, the night saw various stars bag the 23.9k gold plated AFRIMA trophy and Kenya was not left behind.

Our very own 2 times best Rock Band nominees bagged – Rash Band were crowned the best Rock Band in Africa, the inspiring and melodious Nikita Kering took home both the Best Artist in Eastern Africa and Best Revelation of The Africa Continent Awards while the OG Khaligraph Jones took home the Best Male Artist in Eastern Africa. Top favorites Sauti Sol walked away with both the best Album of the year for “African Sauce” and Best Band which of course they are I mean after all they are SAUTI SOL!
