If you look at any artist on the Rise List, you’ll probably find KVLI’s name somewhere toward the top. And if you’ve listened to her music, you know that she’s more than deserving of such recognition and if you love good music, there’s no doubt in my mind that you’ll enjoy KVLI’s songs.
The R&B singer/songwriter KVLI brings her nostalgic sound to the music scene that captivates her audience with clarity and heartfelt lyrics. After graduating from AIM (The Australian Institute of Music) with a Bachelor’s in Contemporary Vocal Performance, she was soon discovered by independent label Soulcafe Music Entertainment.
KVLI is one talented soul who takes time to work her craft and always wants nothing but quality and will never settle for less. She is definitely shooting for the stars and she won’t settle for anything other than originality and class. Her style is distinctively unique and gathering pace.
Since releasing her debut studio album “Confession Of A Baddie” on 30th July 2021 which features local artists and African artists in the diaspora, the talented Kenyan singer has made her name for herself as one of Kenya’s most promising R&B talents.
When asked about her album “Confessions Of A Baddie” this is what she had to say, “Confessions of A Baddie is an album for the weekend. It’s that album you put on when you’re getting ready to go out with your friends or when you’re in the car. It gives you that honesty (confessions) of what it’s like to be a 20 something-year-old female in the dating world, with friends and also the industry.”
With her album launch coming up on 25th September at The Curve By The Park in Nairobi, Kenya. This is what KVLI had to say about the event
“I’m really excited about this event. Confessions of A Baddie is the culmination of everything I aim to embody as an artist. And I can’t wait to perform it for the first time ever.”
