Catherine Joy Agolla going by the stage name Agolla is a Singer, Vocalist, Guitarist and a professional Model. Born and raised in Eldoret town, the Environmental Graduate from Africa Nazarene University spent her high school years in Nakuru at Lockwood Girls High School.
Agolla, who singing comes naturally to her says she made the choice to do music professionally after graduating from campus in late 2015. Armed with a powerful voice, she has done various live performances in various kinds of settings, from performing at the Next Gen Fashion Weekend, Acoustic sets at The Nakuru Street Festival, Supersoul Live by Café Ngoma, Ndimi Zetu Festival. and even at Safaricom’s Blaze Be Your Own Boss in Eldoret where she debuted her first single, “Milele”.
It started off in early 2017 when Agolla began writing her own songs, unveiling her first complete single titled “Milele”, an Afropop Swahili love song with an acoustic guitar feel. She officially launched the recorded audio of the song produced by Ihaji on the 7th of October at the Blaze BYOB Summit where she also was the brand ambassador for Safaricom which gave her the opportunity to inspire her fellow youth.
Among noticeable names that spot her talent is rapper Wangechi who chose her video as one of her favorites in the #50guitarske challenge by Cort guitars and Mzazi Willy M Tuva where she was gifted with a brand new Cort guitar.
