Call For Stories: Generation Africa Is Accepting Stories To Develop Into Documentary Films In 2019

Are you a passionate storyteller? would you like to have your stories told? Then here is a great opportunity for you. STEPS, a South Africa based non-profit organisation that is passionate about the power of documentaries to disrupt, shift and move the world around us has partnered with like- minded organisations and individuals around the world to create documentaries around social and environmental issues called Generation Africa.

Generation Africa is a new documentary project that deals with the question of migration from an African perspective, asking thought-provoking questions about how young people in Africa are shaping the future of the continent and creating change where they are. Generation Africa is looking for ideas for stories across the continent, stories which are unpredictable, touching, moving, revolutionary, and challenging. The films should show action and achievements rather than complaints and hopelessness. Stories people in Africa would want to see: to laugh, to think, to act, to sing, and – to disagree.
