Africa Nouveau, an annual 3days/3nights arts and music festival congregating creators, curators and fans of African cool from Africa and its diaspora. It’s core values are innovation, creativity, collaboration, identity and sustainability.

Africa Nouveau ascribes to the Afrobubblegum philosophy that states that African art can be fun, fierce, fantastical and frivolous, with no other intended aim but to increase joy.

The 4th edition of Africa Nouveau is slated to go down from the 8th to 10th of March, 2018 at Ngong’ Racecourse. With performances from acts drawn across the continent.

Among the A-listers is Kenya’s H_art the Band, Nairobi Horns Project, Miss Karun, Bengatronics, Dagoz Gang, Suraj x Max Doblhoff among others.

Sensational ‘Huku’ hit maker Sho Madjozi, Batuk and Spoek Mathambo will represent South Africa. Uganda’s Faizal Da Mostrixx and Senegal’s Ibaaku are just but a few of this year’s performers.

Over the course of 3 days and nights, the festival seeks to produce hopeful and joyful ways of imagining Africans and their link to the worlds around them. The question we are interested in resolving is “if Africans and outer world beings re-connected, what could we learn and what could we create?”

It will not be all about music, but fashion, gaming, camping and a wide spectrum of culinary delights from all over the world will be available for your full enjoyment.
