Purity Kanini Mwanza better known by her stage name as 2GB is making her presence felt in the Kenyan music scene, she started singing back in 2013 and has dropped amazing jams from her debut jam dubbed ‘Mwandani’ followed by ‘Simu’, ‘Baby Njoo’ and even her massive hit single that featured Ugandan dancehall maestro Khalifa Aganaga.
The former ATL records signee who is now recording and performing under the umbrella of Global records which produced her jam ‘Baby Njoo’ without any doubt is here to make you remeber her and if you are a lover of good music then you will definitely love her.
The Dubai based singer song writer and performing artist has released her latest hit single dubbed “Adui” a Swahili word meaning enemy.
Just as the title of the song, it aims at addressing hypocrites who pretend to being friends only to turn back and stub you in the back, the same message also condemns the rumour mongers whose work is to spread gossip and also those who celebrates during one’s downfall.
2GB has collaborated with Mombasa based singer and performing act Dazlah Kiduche and this mash-up of voices was a perfect decision as the two deliver an amazing song, purely done in Swahili with a chakacha inspired beat.
Produced by producer Challenger, the sassy diva will be jetting in the country this Thursday to shoot the video for the same and I can not wait fro this one, In the meantime listen to the official audio below and let us know your thoughts on this one in the comments box, enjoy.
