Termed as one of the best to ever grace the music scene, US country music singer Don Williams has passed away at age 78.
Originally from Texas, Don Williams succumbed to death after short illness according to his publicist.
Williams began his solo career in 1971, amassing 17 number one country hits and enjoyed great success with his easy-going singing style. Famous for songs like “Gypsy Woman” and “Tulsa Time”, which were covered by many other singers including Eric Clapton and Pete Townshend.
Fans took to social media to pay their last respect to the legendary singer and mourn the loss of a great singer.
