Photos From The Lit Industry Nite’s Countdown254 Final Event Of 2016

On Thursday 1st December 2016, Industry Nite hosted our monthly event COUNTDOWN254 at Gallileo Lounge.

The countdown line up of the main acts consisted of: Juacali, Dufla Dilligon, Gabu and Frasha, Ringtone, Dela, Timmy Tdat, Kymo and Stigah, Khaligraph Jones and Everlast as they performed some of their top songs of 2016.

The legendary artiste Jua Cali took us back to the Genge vibe performing his songs “Ngeli ya Genge”, “Bidii yangu” and his new songs “Mwoto sana” and “Safsana” and the audience were amazed by his spectacular performance.


The stage was graced by rappers, among them the popular Khaligraph Jones, who wowed the audience with his breathtaking performance and his prowess in spitting rhymes.

Among performers were also singers, dancers, gospel artistes and artistes from various parts of the country.


Amazing performances from the legendary dance group Everlast with their popular song “Gudigudi”, Ringtone a popular gospel artiste, Dufla Dilligon the “Tempo” singer, Kymi and Stigah with their “Thitima Anthem”, Timmy Tdat, sobgbird Dela and P-Unit’s Gabu & Frasha with their hit single “Wabe”.

Other category of performers were the break through artistes of 2016. Various media personalities were interviewed and asked to name their breakthrough artiste of 2016. They were: Pascal Tokodi, Gilad Millo, Wakdinali, 125 Musiq and Moonboy.


Their performances were astounding and rocked the audience throughout the performances.

The surprise artiste of the night was the phenomenal Fena Gitu as she dropped her new single “Sema Ng’we”.

Other artistes from various parts of the country who performed were: Bella Beila, MC Mantix, Double J and Roizz MC from Nakuru, Kitole and Aldi from Mombasa and Brendan Koffi from Meru.


The event was attended by celebrities like Bien Aime and Savara from Sauti Sol, DNA, Kristoff, and Naiboi among others.
