Mbali Na Mimi by Goulam x Kipsang | France and Kenya Cross Paths In This Afropop Hit


KS Corp and Hailemind Entertainment Company are thrilled to announce the release of the Latest single, a collaboration from French-based multi-instrumentalist, music producer and singer Goulam and Kenya’s fast rising afropop and world music songwriter, singer and performer, Kipsang titled “Mbali na Mimi”.

“Mbali na Mimi”, is a Swahili phrase meaning far from me, it’s a soft and mature Afropop song revolving around love.The theme in the video is all about protecting friendships or brotherhood in the midst of a love triangle.

“I was amazed by Kipsang’s talent the very first time I checked him out on YouTube. The rest is history; flying to Kenya for the video shoot & the whole experience there was one of the most memorable moments in my life.

Meeting Kipsang & many other great & welcoming Kenyans was humbling, the whole project has been a success from the very first day & we hope it’s going to surpass our expectations.” said Goulam.

The song was written by both Goulam and Kipsang in a number of languages and perfromed in English, Swahili, Comorian and French.

Produced by Goulam under KS Corp in France, the video was later shot in Machakos, Kenya under the keen eye of director and film producer Doll$.
