Introducing Musik Maestro | East Africa’s Hottest Dancehall Duo Taking UK And Africa By Storm

Composed of two super talented artists from neighboring East African countries, the duo from Kenya and Uganda who have released the single at a time when they are re-introducing themselves to their fans after their stay in the UK where they were studying and making big strides in the music scene there.

2014 was a turning point for Musik Maestro, with the backing and credentials of some of the biggest names in the Africa and the UK music industry.

“It’s great to be back home. We love the support we’ve had from Kenyan and Ugandan radio stations. We’ve just finished a press tour in Uganda and next stop is Kenya in January,” Musik Maesto said.

Throughout their career Musik Maestro have gained attention from international media across Africa and Europe. Their debut club banger “Disco Girl” featured Nigeria’s Dr SID.

Their second Kapuka Dancehall single “Juju” put this duo on the world stage as their music gains airplay on popular spaces such as BBC1Xtra UK and from East Africa: 1FM, Kiss100 Kenya, Choice FM Tanzania & Radio City Uganda.

They have been touring opening for acts such as Dr SID, Wyre and P Square. They were also featured on top UK act Sneakbo’s album.

Dubbed “Supreme Gyal” the guaranteed club banger and DJs/fan favourite is dedicated to all the girls from all over the world.

“Supreme Gyal” is the first single off their newly released debut EP NUGENATION (Kings Among Men). Musik Maestro’s 4-track EP is a culmination of an experiment with dancehall, reggae and electronic music. I is available on digital download on iTunes, Spotify and GooglePlay.
