Amazing throwback photos of some of your favorite artists.

Peterson Ngetha AKA Pitson grew up in Eastleigh, Nairobi and coming from a poor family the only entertainment tool his father could afford for him and his brother was a guitar something he grew so fond of and his love for guitar which almost got him expelled from high school when he was accused of being a smoker because he had strummed the instrument so much that the tips of his fingers had darkened.
A bachelor of commerce graduate from Jomo Kenyatta University, Pitson used to sing in the background for artists like Esther Wahome and Emmy Kosgei but it was until he came into the limelights with his debut single “Lingala ya Yesu” a jam that was sang by many and for his love of music and preaching gospel, the star went ahead to quit his job in order to pay full attention to his musical career.

Prezzo born Jackson Makini in Eastleigh is one of the forefathers of the Kenyan music industry, being one of the only old school artists in Kenya who can still resonate with mordern aufience, his debut “Naleta Action” album whose award winning tunes like ‘Naleta Action’, ‘Let’s Get Down’ ‘Mahangaiko’, ‘Leo ni Leo’, ‘Mimi na Wewe’,and my favorite ‘Mafans’ made his name a mark in the industry.
The owner of CMB( Cash Money Brothers ) became the first Kenyan to leave the Big Brothers House as second runners up, Living large and his flashy lifestyle is that to envy and despite the controversy that cometh with his kind of living, his single “P.R.E.Z.Z.O” was among the first expensive Kenyan videos estimated to be worth Kshs. 500,000 back in 2006.

Kenneth Aketch Oluoch Barnabas better known as Kenrazy is a Kenyan rapper who loves referring to himself as the best lyricist, he ventured into the music industry with his debut single “Ti Chi” (2008) which was a massive hit in 2008 and has drop maasive hits incliding “Fimbo ya Tatu-Dawa ya Moto” which is one of the biggest colabos currently on the scene.

Born on 22nd of March 1985 in the Coastal city of Mombasa as Natasha Sanaipei Tande better known as Sanaipei or Sana is a Kenyan singer, songwriter, karaoke host, radio personality and entertainer.
She gained prominence after winning the 2004 East Africa Coca Cola Popstars Talent Search together with two other band mates and thereafter she had a short stint at Capital, joined Kiss 100 in 2007 and thereafter Nation FM (then Easy FM) in 2013, where her daily mid-morning show garnered the station’s highest listenership.
With a number of jams out like “Najuta”, “Niwe wako”, “Kwaheri”, “Big Shot Remix” and having worked with music legends like Jua Cali, Sanaipei is also a Kenyan music pioneer and in her own right she has a claim to what the industry has grown to be.

Born Pierra Makena and known as DJ Pierra by the masses, this is one of my favorite celebrities as she possess most of the talents required to be called a star, from acting to spinning the decks, hosting events, she also is a radio presenter and to top it she can sing.
In spite her debut song “Wape” not having a not so good reception and causing a troll on social media the curvaceous lass has maintained a pretty secretive personal life like her recent surprise of being pregnant which she is quit goo at and strange enough not even the best bloggers can get some out unless she personally does.
